Hey there, welcome to Bad Day Poetry! The idea behind this blog is fairly simple: using poetry as a coping mechanism on bad days. I’ve struggled with mental illness for years now and hope that this can be an outlet and an alternative to things such as self harm, skin picking (dermatillomania), hair pulling (trichotillomania), and other impulses and negative coping mechanisms.
